Harry Kane makes history at Bayern Munich after scoring a hat-trick against Mainz
The English striker, Harry Kane, has made history at Bayern Munich after scoring a hat-trick against Mainz in the 25th round of the German league, where Bayern secured an 8-1 victory.
Kane has become the first player in the history of the German league to score four hat-tricks in his debut season in the domestic championship. He also scored his 30th goal in his first season with Bayern Munich, surpassing Robert Lewandowski’s 17 goals in the 2014/15 season and Mario Gomez’s 10 goals in the 2010/11 season in their respective debut seasons with Bayern.
Moreover, Harry Kane has equaled his counterpart, Uwe Seeler, with 30 goals to become the top scorer in the German league in his first season. The English star now needs an additional 12 goals in 9 matches to break the record held by Lewandowski, who scored 41 goals.
